A little too much of a "Big Church Feeling" for our taste. But, a good experience.
I was at celebrate recovery it is awesome the way GOD is touching so many lives through this ministry.
We went a few times while we were in south Atlanta for work. Good sermon with a message that seemed to be directed right at us.
Update: This is a great church to attend if you play Pokémon Go...
Congregational Services? Check X3. They have multiple campuses reaching out to different parts of Atlanta. They provide predominately seeker-friendly-styled services paired with tailored small-groups for those looking to learn with a tight-knit group of friends. They offer multiple traditional and contemporary-style services weekly.
It's hard to give a objective review on an establishment that, from the reviews below, seems to be under some fairly subjective standards. Let me take a shot at this from a reasonable point of view as a member of this city, not as a "super-fan" of religion or mega churches.
Christian Education? Their schools are top notch and they hold their teaching staff to very high standards. The student body is diverse and comes from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
Wonderful environment for worship and meeting godly people
Community Service? Check. Community Bible Church (CBC) regularly hosts events with and for the local community. They are servant-minded and understand their place as contributors, not complainers, to the city of Stockbridge.
If you're looking for perfect people, you won't find them at CBC. What you will find are normal people who believe in a God who is bigger than their mistakes and who are pursuing that God. You'll also find great coffee.
It was a great service and atmosphere talking about been a hero for Jesus do his will not just things you want in this world church that show real Love of Jesus
